Diaper rash is one of the most common concerns parents deal with — and one of the most persistent. Most parents treat it with a rash cream. Fewer look at what's causing the irritation in the first place.

Two things come into direct contact with the most sensitive area on a baby's body more than anything else — the cleaning product used at every nappy change, and the nappy or cloth diaper itself. If the bottom wash leaves residue on the skin, it sits there until the next change. If the detergent used to wash nappies and clothing isn't fully rinsed out, that residue is pressed against the same area every time a fresh nappy goes on.This bundle addresses both. Clean skin after every change. Clean fabric before every change. Nothing irritating from either direction.

विवरण

Diaper rash returns for most parents because the treatment addresses the symptom, not the source. Rash cream soothes. But if the irritant is still present — in the bottom wash residue left on the skin, or in the detergent residue left in the fabric — it continues to trigger irritation with every change.

The bottom area is cleaned five to eight times a day and covered immediately after. Whatever remains on the skin after cleaning stays there under occlusion — warm, moist, and in constant contact. Wipe residue, bottom wash residue, or detergent residue in the nappy all contribute to the same cycle.

Switching both the bottom wash and the laundry detergent together removes the irritant from both directions simultaneously. The skin gets a clean start at every change. The fabric it goes back into is free of what was causing the problem.

Q1. Why buy both together instead of one at a time?
A1. Diaper rash has two sources at every change — what's on the skin and what's in the fabric. A gentle bottom wash doesn't help if the detergent residue in the nappy continues to irritate. A clean detergent doesn't help if the bottom wash leaves residue on the skin before the nappy goes back on. Switching both together removes the irritant from both directions simultaneously.

Q2. Will this help with recurring diaper rash?
A2. It removes two of the most overlooked contributing factors — residue on the skin from the cleaning product, and residue in fabric from the detergent. Many parents see improvement within one to two weeks of switching both. It is not a treatment product — for severe or persistent rash, consult your paediatrician.

Q3. Does the laundry detergent remove poop and pee stains from cloth nappies?
A3. Yes. Reetha's saponins are effective on protein and ammonia-based stains. For heavily soiled cloth nappies, a pre-soak of 15–20 minutes in diluted solution before washing improves stain removal significantly.

Q4. Why does the bottom wash have no essential oil?
A4. The bottom area is cleaned five to eight times a day — more than any other part of the body. Even mild essential oils are kept out of this formula to minimise any possible irritation on skin that is already the most sensitive and frequently cleaned.

Q5. Are both products safe for cloth nappies?
A5. Yes. The detergent is safe for all fabric types including cloth nappies — no optical brighteners or harsh chemicals that degrade fabric or affect absorbency over time.

Q6. Are both safe from birth?
A6. Yes. No SLS, no synthetic fragrance, no parabens in either. Both formulated for newborn skin from day one.
